BUSINESS & EDITORIAL ANALYST

This position will be full-time and located in our offices in Tel Aviv. Exceptional part-time applications will be considered.

OGC is a boutique research and consulting firm based in Tel Aviv and New York City. We specialize in market research-based strategy, innovation testing, and Voice of the Customer program design and optimization. We are seeking a Business & Editorial Analyst to join our team.

Our client portfolio is international, with a focus on U.S. based, fortune 500 companies, across a variety of industries such as Financial Services, Specialty Retail, Telecommunications, Hospitality, and Software. 

Job Description  

The ideal candidate for this position is a bright, detail-oriented self-starter, with an analytical and technical background, and a passion for writing and design. This position provides an excellent opportunity to apply strong analytical, technical, and creative abilities to market research and customer experience and to gain expertise in working with global, Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Support in execution of quantitative research and consulting projects from start to finish:

    • Project design and management

    • Programming surveys on an online surveying platform

    • Data analysis

  • Client communication and engagement including building and delivering insights-based reports

  • Support in writing of proposals, executive summaries, and other content

  • Assist in design of infographics and other presentations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.A. / B.S. from a top university with outstanding grades with a degree in economics or other social science field

  • 1-2 years of experience in consulting or related field

  • Strong writing skills (e.g., proposals, executive summaries, etc.) (Required)

  • Excel Proficiency: functions, charts, sorting and pulling data by logical conditions (Required)

  • Native English speaker (Required)

  • Aptitude for design and knowledge of design software (Preferred)

  • Strong sense of design in structuring presentations and infographics

  • Proven ability to create compelling and insightful presentations

  • High quantitative aptitude including ability to reveal patterns in data

  • Familiarity with a variety of quantitative analysis techniques 

  • Ability to build compelling insights-based reports and summarize findings

  • Detail oriented 

  • Ability to acquire new software skills quickly

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Independent work style with ownership of assigned responsibilities

  • Ability to work flexible hours (inc. evening hours), as many of our clients are U.S. based

Additional Information 

The position is open for full-time applications, but part-time position applications may be considered relevant. While OGC is based in Tel Aviv, we allow the flexibility to work remotely up to several days a week unless specific project attendance is required.
