INSIGHTS AND INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

This position will be full-time and located in our clients' offices in Philadelphia.

Comcast’s internal Consumer Research & Insights team supports the greater Comcast organization to make better, more informed business decisions from insightful market research data. The team delivers on this by providing research support services and market research insights across Comcast’s divisions and product lines, and by fulfilling both quantitative and qualitative market research projects.


OGC Global is seeking an Internal Communications Associate who will be based out of Comcast’s downtown Philadelphia headquarters for a three-month contract, with the potential to extend to a full-time position.

Job Description

The awarded candidate will consider stakeholder interests from several Comcast divisions to publish valuable market research insights in the format of periodic newsletters, for a viewership ranging from frontline associates to senior executives.  The goal of these insights is to help develop new strategies, methods, and tools to deliver on organizational objectives, effectively creating a streamlined branding for Comcast’s internal research division.


The ideal candidate is passionate about market research and has experience in consumer insights, branding, and communication. This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional development by delivering valuable market research insights for the world’s largest broadcasting and cable television company.

Responsibilities

  • Transform primary and secondary research into valuable, easy-to-understand insights

  • Leverage multiple data sources to create compelling uniform reports for a broad audience of senior executives, frontline associates, and other targeted audiences

  • Recommend strategies that researchers can implement into their content development

  • Train cross functional team members and stakeholders on insights-based strategies, tools, and approaches for marketing, management, and communication initiatives

  • Develop and lead strategy workshops to foster iterative development

  • Maintain a messaging calendar aligned with key initiatives to garner internal support

  • Strategize and execute a standardized look, feel, and tone for insights messaging

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Management, Journalism or a related field

  • 2-3 years experience in an advertising or marketing role, primarily in planning, consulting, or research; creative agency experience (advantage)

  • Interest in journalism and social media

  • Experience in executing original, effective strategies

  • Proven client relationship and burgeoning leadership skills

  • Strong business, marketing, and consumer understanding

  • Understanding of current, key marketing trends and their impact on communications planning

  • Proven strategic innovation and creativity skills

  • Analytical skills – both qualitative and quantitative

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of research techniques, and processes

  • Comprehension of all media channels and disciplines and the ability to develop ideas and strategies across all channels

  • Strong workflow management skills including organizational, time/project management, planning and implementation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment

Additional Information

Located onsite at Comcast’s downtown Philadelphia headquarters, this position is offered through OGC’s embedded expert program and will be awarded for a contract term of three-months with the potential to convert into a full-time position.
